TinyCircuits, a brand that designs and manufactures incredible, tiny electronic working miniature products, all made in the USA, was started in 2011. Based out of a 100-year-old rubber factory in the heart of Akron, Ohio, USA, TinyCircuits launched the TinyDuino platform on Kickstarter in 2012, allowing people of all ages and skill levels to engage with electronics.

Thumby, a product by TinyCircuits, has up to 2 hours of gameplay via a 40mAh rechargeable LiPo battery. It also plays audio from its piezo speaker and offers 2MB of space to store games. Powered by a Raspberry Pi Pico RP2040, Thumby also has multi-player support via a Thumby link cable, which is sold separately.

The Thumby is preloaded with 5 retro games and has 6 functioning buttons, allowing for solo or multiplayer gameplay. Users can also upload their own drawings and videos to Thumby and add more games from TinyCircuits' library. Additionally, users can program their own MicroPython games using the free online code editor.
